    Kinda.

Illinois is a state that does not make me welcome with my Colt Railgun, Hollow Point ammunition of Police Surplus (Federal Tactical Brand, ASYM or Buffalo Bore 255 grain in 1350 FPS super which is really hot and hard on the gun, even though it's a steel frame... that one is a flatnose jacket which is rated to penetrate 30 inches of bone for bear. The muzzle blast on it is about two feet. You would think to cremate the bad guy; a touch of dramatizing)

    Anyway...

I am a licensed carry and would never go anywhere without the iron anymore. It's just not worth the risk. I am working on Maryland's Non resident and a couple of other states as well to be certain that somewhere in my pocket there is a license for that. The one worry that is more important is my weapon and ammuntion. I use one in the chamber and back it with a kit built CMC +10 Magazine and Tripp Research Follower so that the 10 rounders are converted to reliable 9 rounders. Besides I don't want to have to count any higher than 9+1 like I used to do with the old S&W 14 round double stack mag. I always got a little bit confused when higher than 10.

I posted that video in another thread (I forget the title) a couple of days ago and no one responded to that. (Typical...)

Florida is different than most states in that they have a hard "Stand your ground" law that has been tried and proven with a fairly recent trial when someone tried to use a sidewalk to kill or hurt a gun carrier who shot him dead in self defense.

Arkansas does not obligate me to draw. In fact if I ever drew, it pretty much has to be used because not using it creates a Brandishing crime for which I could be arrested and charged. We have a new act 746 open carry law from a couple years ago but that one is not a very strong law. Theoratically you can carry openly if you show no intent to use it or commit a crime. I prefer to be concealed. It's way better when a bunch of jittery sheeple want to call me in as Man with a GUN OMFG HE"S GONNA SHOOT UP THE SCHOOL.

Thats the other reason for holding a CHL. Im within 1000 feet of a school and it's absolutely illegal to possess a gun when within 1000 feet of a school believe it or not. Another school complex in a nearby town has recieved it's first police substation where several state troopers and a number of local police are on hand 24/7 as a in your face warning to anyone who want to think they can try to shoot up the 2640 or so students there.

As far as employers. Arkansas prohibits a employer from taking any kind of punitive action for a gun stowed in a employee car. I prefer to take the position that concealed is concealed. If I am at work, that gun is in me, not stowed in the car. If someone wants to shoot up the place, they will have to deal with me. IDF Trained People visits Arkansas now and then and provides a range of Israeli Military Core training for Handgun, and Rifle against terrorists and active shooters.

That is a new enhanced licensing available in Arkansas. With active shooter training (Provided by the State Police only, over a 8 hour day) you can now carry concealed inside our Statehouse in Little Rock, in public Colleges (also in your dorm room provided you are a 21 year old student; the college cannot take any action against you) and in churches with the pastor's knowledge among other places ordinary CHL holders cannot go.

If it is trucking employer I will still carry. The problem again conflicts with certain states that ban magazines 10 rounds or greater, hollow point ammunition and so on. (I actually believe the 255 grain super hardcast flatnose will do much more damage than a hollow will, some of you will recall the original black talon that squashes into a series of circular sharp metal razors designed to slice nerves and blood vessels. I possess some ammunition descended from that old BT series today) Other than that, it's not going to be a issue. The worst thing a Employer can do is fire me.

One employer called Western I believe is involved in hauling Bullion among other things. They have rifles and such as either Armed Gaurds and or Drivers who are also armed when involved in that kind of hauling. I would not have any problem getting retrained by them and become a traveling Armed rifle gaurd for that work. It's something that I would enjoy doing. Although that armor may hurt a little bit after a period of time under it. I buy and sell certain Bullion out of Texas and am familiar with the processes.

Anyway, that's quite enough for this topic. There is always more. Much more.

I keep one in the cab just for my own safety. Especially with some of the drivers these days that are kinda sketchy looking.

I’ve rolled through IL with a shield full of Speer gold dots more times than I can count. I’m going to jail regardless if I use it. Screw your laws.

What is the nature of your inquiry?
Why would you ask that question?

Looks like most of the liberal states. I'm surprised Vermont isn't included on there too.

My home built death ray uses to much electricity for the inverter to handle.
I think it is not humane to vaporize some one slowly.

I had dreamed of getting a hold of that star trek old series human agonizer that was on the TV episodes series.

By the way the word please does not compute well these days.
