You can laugh. I wrote that to be a bit whimsical. However I'm serious about those kids crying. When you see a child crying and you know your actions are causing it, well it is not something I could let go of easy. After a while I could not do it any more. Some people can just let stuff like this roll off. I am not one of them.

I know exactly where your coming from and agree. I found it humorous at that moment.

Reacting to news stories is like hunting for monsters under a child's bed. It's possible what they say is true or important, but why bet on it?

Is the pay good enough for you NOW to do the job. No matter what you do or how much you make someone is making more and doing less for it. Oh well.

I dont work in that garbage company name Prime inc anymore, i started there, i just did as example, pulled out from my record, one of the nonsense loads. Just described stagnated wages with that example, wages are not stagnating, money flowing in to other pockets thats why drivers have no good money anymore because companies getting more and more greedy.
Prime is one of those trash places where you get no money at all.
Looking at that example would you pull it if they give you load after load after load that ####? i remember sitting 2 days because they were choking me with loads like this, cant remember in detales, but i refused a few and still got that ####. Although after loads like that need turn in the truck.

There was a rumor among my mom’s friends that mom had been seen all over town with a younger guy. That guy turned out to be me.

Quality of living continues to rise all over the world, not just in developed countries, but everywhere.

If you want to go back to the 70s or 80s or whatever, then then good. I wont be joining you, though. I'd jump to the future though if I could looking at how things are going.

I did not click on your link and to be honest I have no plans to do so. I don't make comments like the one I am about to make just to type something. I mean my words. I don't trust much of anything with the word "progress" in it. I would have to do a lot of time consuming research to check their "facts" first. This is why on instinct I don't believe your first paragraph is totally accurate. Now with that said I have to be careful with my words because I am a disabled getting old man in pain 24/7. Naturally I remember with fondness a time when I was not hurting. In my case I remember the 70s and 80s with vivid detail because I lived through them as an adult. I also remember people talking about living in the 30s and 40s the same way then people like I do today with the 70s and 80s. Guess what? "kids" today will in 30 and 40 years be talking about 2018 the same way. It is called the cycle of life and it is NOT going away!

However as some would say "been there done that" in regard to that time. Just know this though. As a society how can you know which way you are going if you don't know where you came from?

What about freedom? We lose more and more of it with each passing generation.
