I beg to differ.
I been with small carriers who get broker freight from mega carriers.

 

I wouldn't say "anybody". The best company I ever worked for was a 10 truck operation. I made only 29 cents a mile with him, but I made more money working for him than I've ever made. Then he went broke and went out of business. The worst outfit I ever worked for is a tie between two smalls. I won't go into the gory details, as you've heard them all elsewhere. But right behind those two is Swift. I did work for Swift back in the day. Never again.

 

Yeah I hear you on small outfits. When I first started driving I started at a company that only had 3 trucks at that time. I drove their truck for 7 years before I bought my own. And I still interact with that company almost on a daily basis which has grown to about 46 trucks now.

 

The odds of you doing well at a Mega are a lot less than the odds of doing well at a small outfit, but the smalls can be just as bad to work for as any SNI, England, Swift, JB.....

 

who made the statement " love makes the world go round" i think its definatley " money that makes the world go round" the medical industry is one of the biggest money earners in the world.
