    i don't get down to the amazon rain forest much anymore, the biggest bug problem i run into is going through Jackson MS

    AC blows less volume across your face as compared to windows.
    Also, if you have it on recirculate O2 levels slowly drop, making you tired.

    That's how I do it. Just enough outside air mixed in with the cool AC is where it's at.

    I grew up in southern Ohio and the hot summers with high humidity. Not like living near the gulf or Florida, but close enough. I used to feel the same way as a kid when I was outside and came into an air conditioned house. Something to do with the evaporation of sweat off my body combined with the cold air. Living out west for the last 41 years, it's dry heat and I don't feel that way any longer. But when I drive back east into the humidity, that feeling comes back. I generally don't run the A/C temp all the way on cold. I'll set it a few notches up from the coldest setting and have the air coming in from outside. Seems to solve the problem.
