So I know there's a lot of companies they will hire in the fields (hoping me say the keyword 'fields' doesn't get this moved) and was wondering if the position Operator Assistant would mean you'd be driving truck sometimes? It ask you to get your CDL with tanker endors. so I figured it might. I'd have to call Tuesday but figured this might be faster so I know.

I believe OA is a frac hand. Which means you will drive occasionally, but your main job is working the frac pad.

However, I’m speaking only for the Northeast. They may do things differently in SA.

99% sure haliburton requires you to have a cdl when you work for them in the event you might have to drive a truck.

I guess I read your question wrong. Are you not wanting to run a truck at all and just work on site?

Because they have a lot of equipment on site that gets trucked in and out. If every employee has a cdl, then they dont have to worry about a worker not being able to legally operate a truck.

    Halliburton Structure is as following!
Every Department in Operations starts you out as an Operator Assistant, and after 9 months of employment you go to Operator Assistant II; and after that things are based on your knowledge of the equipment you operate or should know how to operate via a computer test to make Service Operator I @ that level you qualify for annual raises. Then its Service Operator II, and finally Service Supervisor I
I worked there for about 4 years before getting laid off back in 2015
