Any movers on this forum?

We all retired from bed bugging .bad business .goes down hill more every year

 

My best friend owns a Mayflower agency in California. Moving companies kind of stick to themselves. Most of the work is local, and they contract out to O/O's to take cross country loads and drop them at another Mayflower agency.

 

I move office furn from whse to whse, no bed bugging.

Did it for 20 yrs local , owned 4 trucks at one point . It sucked , employees sucked and the customers were the worse . Just haul freight now running under my own Authority , most ppl here are done with moving in my opinion.

I've seen a couple other household guys on here over the years. I really like this place because I learned so much reading here when I first started. Learned alot about fixing or diagnosing problems on my first truck. I have gotten alot of help when i run into problems on my current truck too.

I pulled flatbed for a year and this place was unbelievably helpful. You can get alot of knowledge from here for stuff like that.

The FB groups are really good for info on hhg's. Those groups made me realize how much I dont know about the biz

 

If it can afford my wife and I one of those big sleeper trucks, I'd love to do it.
