I’ve been at Oakley for awhile, if anyone wants answers to anything, on them, ask me, I have been a trucker since 1974, I’ve been around a lot of companies, Oakley is by far the most honest, they will do their best to make you profitable, and enjoy your job

 

Am I have my own end dump or do I have to use theirs?

 

I’m not sure, I think they would prefer that you use their trailer, it won’t cost anything extra, they pay all permits and tags. You just pay your 550 annual road tax, and they will deduct monthly for IFTA, small e-log rental fee, insurance, that’s cheap. My total weekly deduction is less than 200.

My husband is currently in the process of buying a truck and will start orientation with Oakley on the 28th. He's also going into End Dump and will be working SE regional.

I've been scouring the web looking for honest reviews from actual drivers.. and while there isn't much to be found, what I have found has almost always been good. Knowing truckers this gives me a good vibe about the company since we all know truckers will complain when there is a problem, but most never take the time to drop a positive rating on a company.

 

Can you tell me a little more about working for Oakley? I’ve been tossing the idea around for a couple years now. Thanks
