Akal Transport LLC, Grapevine, TX dangerous company to work for

This terribly run company is dangerous for any driver on several levels
- Old, defective trucks that will kill your CSA, PSP or your personal safety for that matter. When informed about this the owner AJ brushes it off with the same answer; " I KNOW, I KNOW but just drive anyway, we'll fix it later". I read some reviews dating back to 2015 and the issues listed then regarding the equipment are still the same today. worn out tires, check engine lights all over the place at the owner (the guy actually gets free labor out of drivers by making them work on his trucks even before officially hiring them; like change or charge the batteries).
- 80% of what the owner and his wife tell you is false. They peg people for fools and lie through their teeths about almost everything. The lanes they advertised, the rate of pay, the frequency of pay all changed on you and the worst part is that the owner often blames the screw ups on the 2 youngsters on the brokerage side without their knowledge.
-They will owe you money that they'll never pay
- They don't pay their repair bills, so shops are always threatening them
Speaking with some of the owner/operators, they told me they waited almost a month before getting their 1st check and from there the nightmare never stopped (something about the charges on the fuel card don't show till the 5th of the month).
This is just a two-bit company run by 2 two-bit crooks who shamefully con folks. They are an excuse of a trucking company that gives indian people a very bad name.
