Because people are just angry. You’ve never seen someone try to pick a fight with someone for no other reason than they’re pissed off? Of course you have, we ALL have seen it. Plenty of times.
And “circumstantial evidence” just isn’t enough to either shoot someone, or to get shot!!!
Like I said, nowhere that I’ve read, says he was taking a break at the pumps. -
There was a quote from the CDL Life magazine which stated that driver #2 (in the rear truck) thought that driver #1 was "taking too long" at the pump. That is the only report of why this happened. I have no way to verify whether its an accurate report or not, I have to assume that it is fact at this point.
However, this could have been due to anything. Again, I must give some credibility that the report is fact. But..... there could be a million reasons why this happened but again, I have to assume that driver 1 was "taking too long" at the pump.
To go further, no where... does any report say that the driver was taking his break or getting lunch or hanging out in the restaurant, etc. The report (which we have to assume is fact at this point) only says #2 thought #1 was taking too long at the pump. he could have been checking his oil, washing his windows, getting DEF etc.
But, I will say that regardless of what brought this on, in the end, driver 2 approached driver 1, argued with him, walked back to his truck, produced a gun & driver 1 shot driver 2 in self defense. Witness's, audio & video provides proof of this.LoSt_AgAiN, 06driver, Dumdriver and 3 others Thank this. -

Somehow I doubt any of these idiots were “new age drivers”. The kind of driver who gets impatient at the drop of a hat and threatens the offspring of the one who took 80 seconds too long before moving on is the ####y driver who’s been out here a year too long. I’ve been out here a long ### time and I’ve never seen an obvious new driver throw a tantrum like this. This sort of behavior (either party in this case) comes from “seasoned drivers” who have reached a point where they think their #### don’t stink and everybody else should just bow down to them. And frankly, I’m more disgusted with these “too good to associate with the typical driver” drivers than I am the newer drivers.Last edited: Sep 16, 2018

Why would you waste good diesel on an arsehole' like that? -
I am trying to figure out what in my post gave you the idea that I was saying something about young drivers or "new age drivers." This nonsense started 30 years ago, and picked up steam 20 years ago. I think the first time I heard of some non driver using the term "super trucker" was in 2005. Years ago, they'd refer to them as "Hero." And what you call 'snowflakes,' was a sidewalk sissy.Wargames Thanks this.

You got that right six. Look at all the posters on here who are on probation or looking for a way to cheat on drug testing. All losers who think trucking is thier career of choice. Or last chance. Just more Jack-##### out here screwing it up. When you take the professionalism out of trucking what can you expect.kemosabi49, longbedGTs, Wargames and 1 other person Thank this.
