Not as pretty as W900 but nicer than a t680 Kencadia. I can see small fleets, tanker, and skateboard outfits picking em up.

Cheap crap for the masses.

W900 wannabe. For those that can't decide if they want a hood or an aero truck. Maybe they're going to let the truck figure out for itself what it identifies as. No surprise in today's screwed up world.

What’s cheap about it?
-
Thats just Kenworth trying to get the girls and them effeminate fellas market share out of Peterbilt. =)

So, how long has it been since Peterbilt spent any money upgrading the 389? Go ask an honest salesman that has been in the business for a while.

If it ain't broke...
How is the w990 an upgrade from the w900?MartinFromBC and jsnell Thank this. -
The 2.1 meter cab is an upgrade over the B cab. That will be the cab all Paccar class 8 trucks will be built with eventually, just like the B cab was until the T680 and T880.
If you haven’t seen how the 2.1 cab is constructed, you should have your local Kenworth or Peterbilt body shop contact you when they’re going to strip the interior out of one and put in a new cab due to an accident. The Kenworth dealership I use let me look at a day cab that had laid over, wasn’t a high speed accident, but cab did need to be replaced. The cab maintained its structure enough that the interior was able to be reused, including the rear window and complete dash. The 2.1 cab is spot welded, air craft style riveted and some type of sealer used on every internal seam inside the cab adding to the insulation of the cab and sleeper from temperature and noise.spsauerland Thanks this.
