This pertains to the LTL division of xpo

Starting pay is between 20-22/hr depending on if your in a high cost of living market or not. Mileage pay is low sixties, don’t remember exactly.

Insurance is 80/20 coverage with the top plan costing about 90$ a week. First year employees are limited to a bottom tier 70/30 plan

There is a 401k with up to a 4% match. No pension.

If you are looking at xpo ltl, you will start on a forklift loading/ unloading trailers and running trailers between service centers

After a few years you can work you way into city P&D if that’s your interest.

You will need hazmat, tankers and doubles/triples endorsements

Yes, it’s LTL, there will be some city driving mixed in as well.
Starts at 22 an hour in my area.

And thank you, I appreciate the response.

Most locations start you working nights and you could expect to work nights for the first couple years or more depending on the size of the center. It would be the rare exception if you see city work within the first 1-2 years, not impossible but rare.

    Nathanos Thanks this.

If you don’t mind night shift and dock work for a couple years. Takes years to get the long runs with minimal dock. Those guys you see doing meet and turns or in the daylight are very senior drivers. Top pay is extremely well. Like 90k+ on linehaul but like I said you might be on the dock for 3-5 years or so. It will be full time but the forklift will be your best friend.

Could one of the new XPO employees tell me whether you had to submit to a hair test to get hired ?
One of the online forums states that XPO test hair but a friend that should know says the only do urine .
    Thanks in advance.
