Weatherford, TX. On my way to Cleburne to load for San Antone, but halfway there they decided I needed a washout (I asked before I left and got a “no”), so now I get to wait till this little truck wash opens at 7am.

    Guess it’s nap time.

We was told to come here to 281/I-20 junction and get it here. I forgot about that beacon, but I’m running with my dispatcher on this deal and he’s pretty much solar powered anyway, so I reckon we’ll just wash out and run in the morning.

It was 59 degrees and pouring rain when we left Elk. By the time we hit Wichita Falls it was 80 or so and dry.

Glad to see you made it home. How long do ya get?

Friend of mine just bought the new Arctic Cat 850cc sled this past spring. Taking delivery on it in a couple weeks. Says he should have no problem getting up to over 110mph or something. Stupid fast.

Deliver in am and then come back to the house...

I originally wanted to leave out Wednesday morning but between stocking the truck, redoing the headache rack, and having some downtime for myself I just may see if I can’t move it back till Friday morning...

I have an appointment phone call Thursday for my benefits so... eh...

Orientation has for whatever reason taken it’s toll on me. Lotta information in four days, plus the routine is all different now from what I’ve been used to at Melton...certainly didn’t help that I was sick as a dog last week.

Need some time to decompress and settle in a little I think.
