Find a new company with minimal training in CA?

Husband may have to take what he can get, then in a couple months and a clean record, he can change companies and go to one with a rider program.

 

Too late for their season. Was just in there delivering a load a few weeks back.

 

Here's one to consider: V3 Transportation
If you have a cdl and your wife only a cdl permit, you can run teams at V3 Transportation. You will be her trainer and she will learn on-the-job.

V3 Transportation also has cargo vans.

You could live on the road in one of those sleeper box trucks.
Personally, I could live in a cargo van; some drivers do just that. I've talked to a few at truck stops. The cargo vans park in the car parking area. The sleeper box trucks park in the big rig parking area.

 

What is the reason they are giving for saying no?

Robertson's Ready Mix in Southern California has their own cdl school. You can get a CDL-A there.

 

Did CRST give you a final answer?

 

Used to be they took anybody, put them in a two week school to get a cdl in Fontana CA then one month (24 days) with a trainer. Then 10 month contract driving team. No solos with riders.
