on. the pedal or cruise?SingingWolf Thanks this.

I was told by our safety dept. You can legally only pcc home if ot is where you start and end every day and its nott with a load.
Also pc still has to be done within your 14.
I disagreed with the interpretation of safety but was not going to chance it. Not my company
And i like this job...Opus, SingingWolf and mickimause Thank this. -
That is the problem with PC - the way the regulation and interpretations are written makes the whole thing convoluted. Three different people can have three different, contradictory interpretations and they can all be correct.TennMan and SingingWolf Thank this.

sounds like a good time for sni to start pushing regulation for trucks with auto pilot
-
I drove a truck that was 62 on the floor and 65 on cruise.
You had to press the resume/accel button to get it to go faster....
So I kept pressing and pressing to make sure I was going the top speed and wore my finger off
(That’s blood)
LtlAnonymous and SingingWolf Thank this. -
Yeeaaaaarrrrgg!

Yes.
No difference between the two at SNI. Though you could always get luck and have a truck that doesn't ding over speed until 65 (so you can keep your foot in it all day) -
used to be split. 60 on pedal. 63 cruise.SingingWolf Thanks this.

They upped the trucks two years ago. Now it's 63 on the foot and cruise, no more "overspeed"
