I have what appears to be an internal leak..i lose pressure in primary and secondary in about an hour being parked. Then low air to trans. comes on. The compressor cycles exactly at 9 minutes when driving on interstate with no traffic.
I checked everywhere and changed out alot of fittings..abs relays good. But the leak is very audible coming from a hole under the transmission bellhousing? Right after the engine oil pan where the trans starts. I can place my hand over the hole and the "Sssssssss" goes low, then when I remove my hand its loud again.
Anyone know what could be leaking in there? I think the trans would have to be dropped.Jerry on road Thanks this. -
Thank you both for the information! -
I just bought it a few days ago for $27. Its not called a pressure control valve anymore. I forgot but its one word off. I don't have the number because the receipt is in the truck, which is in the shop. But this is a picture you can show the parts person.
There is a check valve out of the tank, then the valve in question, followed by the elbow fitting going to a half inch line. If you change the valve, get the brass elbow fitting and the check valve because after disturbing it, they will probably leak, like in my case.

it should be pressure regulator valve. this is normal just something is leaking and that 's about all but once the air goes up you are completely fine.

I have Volvo 2015 D13 eng with I-shift that runs fine at 75MHP for several miles no problems then transmission will suddenly stop pulling like it goes into natural position also you lose your foot petal. (it is like the trans & throttle all goes to natural at all at once). you can pull over to side of roadway let trucks set for 15min to 20min play with shifter reversing truck and then truck will start back rolling like nothing happen.
any suggestions. -
sound like a clutch or actuator problem any codes
