She was having trouble breathing and her pulse was over 160 bpm for almost and hour. She was uncuffed and transported by ambulance to the nearest hospital. She came to the police station to pick me up after she was released from the hospital. They knew she was there to pick me up. If the were going to rearrest her or file charges against her, I’m pretty sure they would have done it then.

Private security guards.

• Mall cops, bouncers and private security guards are not cops. They cannot give you a citation or arrest you.

• Private security guards can kick you off private property, and may be able to search your stuff if there is a posted building rule that says so.

• If you do not want a private security guard to search your stuff, you can leave private property.

• Security guards can hold you with a citizen's arrest for a "reasonable amount of time" until police arrive if you break the law, but not one of their building rules.

I think the real crime here is that the OP could have had a delicious BBQ sandwich at Tops BBQ by the Flying J on Hacks Cross but didn’t. Any chance for a reload soon?

My husband and I arrived at Metro Logics, 10635 Marina Drive, Olive Branch, Mississippi at 0745 on 11, September 2018 to a closed security gate with a guard shack to the left of the driver's side of the truck. The guard asks my husband where we're coming from. I don't remember what his reply was. The guards requested both of our driver's licenses to which we complied. My husband asks me, 'Do you think having your hand in your pocket is unreasonable?' I stated, 'No it is not unreasonable, and we're leaving.' Husband states to guard, 'Fine, we'll leave'. I heard the guard from inside the guard shack yell at the guard beside my husband, 'They can't leave. They're not in the system yet.' My husband was standing between the driver's side spot mirror and the driver's side steer tire. My husband attempted to proceed to the driver's side door but was blocked by the guard as the guard then stated, 'You can't leave.' The guard then held out his arm in a closed fist to block my husband from heading towards the truck door. The guard shut door of our truck and pushed my husband into the steer tire. I went to the aid of my husband after I witnessed the guard push him, as the guards had guns and I feared for both our lives because we were being unlawfully detained against our will. I was drug across the asphalt by more than one security guard and felt pain behind my right ear, they pushed my face into the ground and forcefully held my arms behind my back. I complained several times that I was having trouble breathing at this point. They did secure handcuffs so tight that my wrists and fingers did go numb. One of the guards that assaulted me stood behind me after I was in handcuffs and continued to assault me by brushing his legs against my back, and touching my shoulders and neck. I yelled out every time he touched me to 'Stop touching me!' The unwanted touching occurred 5-6 times. My husband said that every time I yelled for the guard to stop touching me, the guard would laugh and smile. I heard a female guard standing in front of me tell the guard to stop it because the camera will show him doing it, and to move away from me. All in, I was probably detained for 45 minutes to an hour before the police arrived. This is an estimate, as I had no real record of the time without access to a device that records the time while I was unlawfully detained.
This is my rendition of what events occurred. We were disallowed to make any statements as to what occurred in our defense or for that matter, press charges. We have retained council in our defense. We are still waiting for the video surveillance to be released .

Do you realize how fast someone can pull a knife out of thier pocket and stab someone repeatedly before there was time for them to react? 3 arms lengths away is not a "safe distance". I want to make sure I go home after then end of the day. I'm not going to mess with someone that wants to put thier hand in thier pocket after I ask them not. It isn't reasonable at all.

You two deserve a whoppin to wake you up.
