That's exactly what I found out and they're constantly trying to short drivers for their earned wages and make many promises never kept and when I asked for my pay raise and contract in writing I was terminated the very next day as an unsafe liability they should have said we don't want to pay you what we promise to pay you

Then they would take $1,000 for the use of the truck plus $0.08 a mile for maintenance
Then deductions for any citations or violations tools Fuel and insurance... And I was paid what was left over from the Brokers advertised pay per load... I cannot remember getting a check that wasn't short in one way or another and I had to argue to collect my bonuses and layovers so then they switched me to being a local driver for hourly wage
