I’ve heard guys a few years back talking about how pies are really good at sales barns. Which ones are the best and who has what. I thought this was cattle hauling lingo until I realized they were indeed talking about actual pies.

Some of the best food I have ever had in my life come from a sale barn cafe.
Batesville had one helluva steak man back in the day. (Met my wife there)
Texoma has jam ### up Mexican food.
Laurel was your general home town diner.
Cattlemans in OKC the premier steak house of the city started out as a sale barn cafe. They are still in stock yard city.
