There is zero security the truck makers input on trucks. This is hard to look at and scary. I’ve known many many drivers in my life and all of them carry a pistol

Back to the winter supplies, I carried a shovel in the side box too. Had to use it a couple of times to dig out around the drive wheels.
And also. Don't let the super truckers tailgating you or blowing by you in the left lane intimidate you into moving faster than you think is safe. They are the ones who will be in the ditch a few miles down the road.

How many times do you hear that garbage on the average day? Especially if the weather is bad.

 

I never left my CB on to avoid listening to all the garbage. Only turned it on when I thought necessary so never heard a thing but I'm sure sometimes things were being said. I guess I was referring to tailgating by the stereotypical long nose Peterbilt / KW super trucker trying to pressure you into going faster. The ones who always seem to be the trucks you see rolled over at tight off ramps or in the median during bad weather.

I learned quick about trash talk on the cb
I too leave it off until I need to check what’s going on. To much garbage

 

Yeah, I knew someone had the mileage bonus, got my someone's wrong. Lol
