Get yourself a dash camera!

Ive had this dash cam for several months and I love it. I put a 128 GB card in it and I can record nearly 24 hours (on second highest resolution) before it starts to overwrite footage

Why turn off the internal mike? That's most of the fun right there!

 

Because I'm a paranoid summa ma #####. I can see me talking #### on phone about something on way home. Then when I get home wife going to get my dirty clothes to wash. And hi ts button while in truck, and now hears everything I said. Ya that might be a piss poor example. But I dont want to be recorded talking. If I need the cam to show what happened. The video can speak for itself.

 

“High endurance” memory disk is highly recommended. My garmin started glitching out, but has worked great for almost two years now with one of these in it

 

One of my friends. (Yes i do have friends) drives truck and this guy pulled out in front of him. No approaching traffic, so he proceeds to pass. Guy then wants to turn left, and turns right into his drive tires. My friend was empty, and probably tried to turn away. Anyway no dash cam. Bummer.

How easily can the mic be turned on/off on the BlackVue?

I saw a video on YouTube once where the guy was driving a long nose Pete and had a camera mounted behind his head, about center of truck, and from there you could see Front, Both Side mirror's and hood mirrors if one had those. It was a nice picture, not grainy or anything. This is what I want to do. Anyone know of a particular camera for this?
