    Their are small companies that charge as small as 10% if you have your own truck and trailer compared to 37% please do some Google searches and be aware of your options and don't leave so much in someone else's pocket. PS ,if you have truck only ,some companies charge 20%

    But what if Schneider won't have them? What do they do then? Landstar is their only option for becoming a real owner operator!

    There are a lot of small companies that have the same programs as landstar such as helping you with authority ,fuel and such just like landstar but much less precentage ,you work hard and long for your money . Knowledge is power . Google searches help with learning

    I don't care what someone sold the load for. The $ amount they got is totally irrelevant. How much they pay me for the load is the only number that matters. i am not running their business, just mine.

    That is something that a broker would say ,to confuse the facts of 37% vs 10% the lanes and freight market pay the same to all fleets

    But I thought Landstar is so HUGE they get better than market rates, thus pass it onto to their carriers? You mean 37% to them doesn't equal more than 10% to the normal market rate? I'm confused.
