I see...
Is thay $3.30 a mile before or after Landstar's cut?
So, what's the minimum rate coming out of Colorado?Last edited by a moderator: Oct 20, 2018

Yes but colorado is a dead end lane the rates coming out of there make it not worth it. It's great rates going to Miami as well but another dead end lane . Denver was where landstar cancelled my $1.70 a mile load and then magically came up with another available load for $1.40

So YOU get 3.30/mile minimum going to Colorado from Florida?Last edited by a moderator: Oct 20, 2018

I just did a quick search on DAT. Highest posted rates. From ANYWHERE to Denver, Colorado. 53' ft dry van. Here's the first 10 postings. Reality is most of these are negotiable too.Dave_in_AZ and DSK333 Thank this.

Landstar brokers such as yourself do fantastic it's the driver's that have the difficulties surviving with these tactics , bait and switch and other things
-
Conversely, here's the first 10 highest posted rates out of Colorado 48' & 53' dry van.
drvrtech77 and DSK333 Thank this. -
I think 37% off of the work and Wear and tear and fuel cost is just to much .
-
I don't run that lane. However, it looks to me like the average round trip market rate from L.A. to Denver is around $2.00 a mile?
Does that sound about right? -
If it's a true rate that's excellent at minus 10% but not so good at minus 37%
