Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

You can find them starting from 20000e if you are looking into something from poland or turkey in basic version to well over 200 000euro if you are looking at high end german trailers.it just depends what do you want.

 

That 3-axle trailer is indeed € 181,000. However it is a new trailer, not 12 years old, and it is far more sophisticated. Hydraulic suspension, and a 3kW electric motor for a hydraulic pump to steer the rear wheels independent from the truck, to name just e few.

@Cat sdp showed me a thread which proved the point that a lot off the problems with newer trucks in the USA are not really issues with the newer trucks but problems with the service.
In that thread a O/O had to wait a week before they did a dianogstic.
Then they told him it was 8 weeks to deliver a wire harness.

 

I guess Volvo did make nice trucks at one time
