Fracking is a temporary Coffee induced power. When that wears off, you better hope we are engaged in really deep drilling. Like 10 miles down.

Interesting. We shall keep an eye out for everyone.
WTI oil prices are rising and projected to upwards of $90 per barrel according to a lot of sources online for 2019 travel season. I understand, a lot of folks here wanna know on where to look for work and make good money doing it.
Stick with us. We'll share the knowledge. -
I see that it created more questions than almost worth answering but I will stand up answer some of them as I can.
Reduced to it's minimum, in the last 50 years a number of wells hae been drilled with one goal in mind. Straight down Baby. That will just have to wait until toes come out in two for ones later on down roads.
The rest of the debating or questions etc will just have to wait until tomorrow. I cannot in a position to make a high leel federal case out of anything with a stupid cell phone in one hand and a crappy group of screens in the other.
One time the Crew of the Charleston tied down the safety valve because it was constantly in need of being talked to kindly.. After a while enough pressure in it blew the thing up. -
I agree. In Texas alone, oilfield companies have nearly double in new well permits in 2018. But, getting qualified personnel out there again since the last oil bust is preventing oil production from these new wells.

Longest hole we cemented was 27,000 and change. 18,000 was horizontal. Set a record for longest land well drilled.rabbiporkchop and Crude Truckin' Thank this.

Most Bakken/Three Forks wells in ND are in the 20k feet MD (measured depth). That's 10k vertically and 10k horizontally. Despite what the critics say, there's lots of oil in ND. Texas, same thing. More oil than one can fathom.
