The transmission has to calibrated not the ccv.
When I found out that it was the CCA and CCV, I scoured the internet and called parts places between LA and Syracuse NY and found no one that will sell a CCA for my truck VIN less than 1300 with core and another 400 for the CCV. The synthetic Volvo transmission oil is also an outrageous price per gallon no matter where you go, IF you go with the Volvo brand.
So to be able to find a place that can get everything on the list above for under 2 thousand is a real bargain.
Unfortunately I have never had the fortune to find deals like that. When I had my Ultrashift go out, it was about 6 thousand to get her going again.
Now the Labor always gets me in the big shops, no doubt about it. Great to hear though that someone can get it done for under 3400.
Thanks again for the insight and heads up.
