Semi slams School Bus

I was going to say the same thing.

 

Why weren't you already on the brakes seeing a school bus and knowing they drop off kids?

You people need to pay attention and not expect others to make allowances for your failures.

 

Can man strikes again.

 

where i live, about 5/10's of a mile away, is the intersection to a state highway. about a block away from that, is the bus yard.

we have a law on the books, "DO NOT BLOCK THE BOX"..

the NUMBER ONE OFFENDERS to that law......

yup..the bus drivers, not wanting to be at the red light, at that very busy intersection.

most (if not all times) the buses are empty.

but i pray that someday i do not witness an accident, cuz i'll be a witness for anyone else BUT those moron bus drivers.

 

Oh, #$%^. Thank goodness for cameras. Hopefully, someday the garbage of trucking will be sifted out, regardless of the so called driver shortage.

 

Semi out of control or no semi at all, people always not paying attention and going through real lights. When the light changes green I ALWAYs check on coming traffic before I proceed. I don’t just get on the hammer assuming everyone is coming to a stop. It has become natural habit. You would think a bus driver would do the same carrying a bus full of other peoples kids. This accident happened so fast that if he were to have looked, he clearly would have saw big ### truck heading his way not stopping at light. That bus driver ought to change his ways if he’s gonna be driving a bus

 

Posts are correct on stupid school bus drivers. Had one pull out a couple days ago. Turned out when i was close coming at her, soon as she straightened out she threw the lights on. I was not going that fast and was empty so i got stopped. Its like wow lady use your brain. Most tour bus drivers not people i would be comfortable riding with either, just my opinion.

 

That's why I have a dash cam. Video gets sent to the bus company, and their insurance carrier.

 

Greyhound bus drivers drive very poorly also. Twice I've ridden Greyhound both rides were white knuckle rides especially the overnight run. I will walk b4 I ride Greyhound again!

Seeing as how the driver was pulling a can I’m sure his company is going to be scrutinized by both DOT and the attorneys.
