I have a nice OTC hydraulic kit $2100 and various plates for different liners/motors another $800 all together pretty heavy to ship. A fair price would make it considerable...thanks.

While I appreciate the offer, it is a little more than i want to spend for one motor.JohnC123 Thanks this.

I can confidently instruct someone in manufacturing a home-made liner puller but these "pieces" would not be just lying around the house and remember, if your pulling the liner your going to have to press it also, 2 different plates, 2 different angles of attack. A 4x4 and a dead blow might work once....I bought mine because I busted the fire ring. Don't listen to somebody who works on their daddy's buick....ha just kidding...I own one come to think of it (my wife's).

Where are you located?

As NightWind stated, ask a local shop about borrowing one. They get a little more open to the idea when you purchase parts from them as well.

Offer to buy the shop pizza or subs for lunch. Fair trade for a tool rental if you plan to be a one time user. Probably about as free as you can get.
Oxbow Thanks this.
