    Hello out there is trucker land. Am new to all this but very excited. Hubby heads off for orientation and then the "training experience" tomorrow. I found this site and have been thrilled at what I read.

    Can't wait to be a part of this new world we are entering.

    Hope to be meeting allot of you real soon. LOL you might all have to help me get adjusted to hubby being away so much.:biggrin_25526:

    It is certainly a whole new life, takes some getting used to!
    Just remember that there will be good days and bad days, and on the bad days - get yapping on here. We are all in this same situation, we know how it is, so you will find plenty of understanding folk here willing to listen.

    I just spent 2 weeks on the road with my husband, now it just horrible being home alone again. It will be a bad week, then I will just kinda settle again. Our situation is a little different from most, in that he only gets home twice a year, (long story!!) so we struggle to find positive things about it sometimes.:crybaby: This forum is just great for those 'weepy' days, we all know how it feels.:yes2557:

    Well, he's off to orientation and just like others have said on here. I am a mess. I really miss him already and hes just been gone an hour. 6 weeks seems so longgggggggg. Oh well, I'm a big girl and I can handle... LOL but for tonight... it's gonna be about all the chocolate I can get my hands on. I'll have a nice quiet pity party and then, tomorrow will be a better, and different
    day!
