Speaking of a tooth.....

Lol, worked with a man (John) who in his younger years tried to stay uh.... young? He grew up in west central WV and was a hard worker. Just tried to be to impressive at times. Spent good money on a hair transplant out in California, ended up with the nickname Cornrows!
Also has a big fake tooth right in the front and it ended up tilted to one side, got the name Mr. Chicklet lol. Poor guy, his most common nickname though was Crack Monster...... man needed a pair of suspenders in the worst way lol, always cracking folks.

Some guy at the Petro in Milton,PA has a strange CB handle; he was on there a lot saying, "This is "Commercial Buffalo", kick it back!

 

I got mine when I was hauling dump buckets about 17 years ago. I didn't know much about the job so I followed all the senior guys around. Watched their every move and listened to them on the CB. Some would give me pointers over the radio as we worked. After a while, another Driver started calling me "Shadow" because I was always there following. It's been with me ever since!

 

Exactly. Just like guardian bells. You buy one and you'll be cursed. They given to a man via respect and right of passage. Even the names that bust someone's balls are almost always given in the best of senses.
