So I have been trying to find out what I need to get my own plates in colorado. I have tried calling but says they are to busy to answer the phone, google is no help, so I'm hoping someone on here can tell me what all do I need?

I have called a bunch of times, it's some recording that's on there, even at the local office.

    I used our permit service.

Only one place in the state to physically go to get plates. It’s 2 hour drive each way.

I think I paid an extra $30 and had it ( temp plate) the next day.

    Illinois.

Depending on what county you live in you might need a current emissions test.

I had to do that 2 times for 2 different trucks, but only a 45 minute drive. I was leaving a truck, and we had a California title. So got to change it to NJ, get Corp code for both the carrier and the leasing company. Power of attorney. It was uphill from there!
