Team freight on the I 5 corridor?

No real need for teams on the I-5 unless you're running a dedicated route from Seattle to LA and back non-stop and back. A solo driver can drive most of it in a single day. As far as In and Out, park the rig and either bobtail over to one or take an Uber. They built one in my town years ago and I burned myself out. Very rare when I'm in the mood for them any more. I do think they have the best fries in the industry.

 

check out DSV (formerly Market Transport) in Portland....they run team CA-WA and the occasional east trip with frozen crab. O/O and company....tell them I sent ya!

 

If palf trees make you happy & wife hates winter, I would be looking at an I10 dedicated run.

Lots of five guys along the way & could still hit up In n Out in the southern cal end of it with much less BS to deal with.

I grew up with In n Out in Santa Barbara & Atrashcadero, its good but Five Guys is better IMO.
Definitely not worth an over saturated route like I5, especially as an owner op.

Maybe there are decent rates available to an owner op on a dedicated run, that's partially what the website is for; discovering new things & such.

 

Why not have the best of both worlds? A triangle Washington to SoCal. SoCal to Texas. Texas to Washington. That’s pretty easy from a freight movements standpoint. Not sure about the revenue side.

 

Plus on I-10 you can hit up Whataburger in Texas.

 

Santa Nella has parking. Truck stop next door and Mickey D's across the street from in n out.
