OP's license is not expiring. The paper copy that he has in his possession is expiring.
As for the load planners, well, it pretty much costs the company nothing if the trucks aren't moving.
3 weeks in and not a very good first impression

Oh my wait untill CRST pairs you up with another student for a year after you're done with your current trainer.
macmoran Thanks this. -
that's exactly the problem it cost the company nothing to sit ....... to tell you the truth I haven't sat 9 days total waiting on a load this century of course that doesn't count where I took a day off intentionally and it certainly was not at some crap hoLe pilot in Pennsylvania. .. a day in key West a day in ft Meyers visiting family Virginia Beach a couple of times . a day in Vegas ... I think 3 34 hr resets on the road in the last 5 years Portland Oregon. Los Angeles and recently sat a week in tampa .... well at least my truck was I was on a cruise ship lol. why these morons have to take a 34 hr reset every weekend is beyond me a recap hour is still 60 minutes long of course I am an owner operator and do my own load planning and take plenty of resets but the truck is parked in my driveway .... crst must sit you guys so they can make an extra $ 35 doesn't sound like much but if you sit a few thousand trucks it adds up and if you're dumb enough to put up with it why would they quit ..... rates are still high and it's not anywhere near slow and if someone is telling you this there blowing smoke ..... well to the guy that started this post if you are in training you don't have much choice in things just get your year in and remember to get on the load planners and driver managers about keeping you moving and as long you do your part they should . you're trainer is more than likely a slacker or a moron and with crst has a big pool of these types. he is a trainer because he is to lazy to drive himself or isn't smart enough to figure out how to make money with 1 driver

think about it ... if you have your wallet stolen and your license is in it does that mean you no longer have a valid cdl and you have to leave the truck where it is and retest in whatever state your inBadmon Thanks this.

Harrisburg to Birmingham by air? You can be there tomorrow morning, family fetches you by car and dump you back at the airport to fly back to your truck and trainer.
Keep in mind some of the planes are Embaerars. These are smaller rocket ships that cruise at .90 mach at 46000 feet. Making ordinary wide bodies like 737's waddle like a duck. IF you had a rocket to Alabama you will be at least a hour faster than a wide body.
You cannot get much faster. Assuming your hard copy license is at home you should be able to get to it and go back onto the plane. Flights are not cheap, these are round trip.
