Volvo's have real cheezy ignition switches, they will set FMI-9 codes in every ecu, every time it is started the counts will go higher, it will also read VECU Maint required on the display, while engine is running, wiggle and play around with IGN switch, see if, ABS/Trac lights go on/off, or any other warnings pop.
