With your $20/month dial-up, you also have the landline charges and all the taxes/fees that come with that. The $60/month was cheaper for us than having dial-up.

Verizon limits the aircard usage to only 5gb per month then charges you by the megabyte I believe thereafter. As far as I know, sprint is the only mobile internet provider that doesnt cap. The 5gb can be used up quite fast if you dont pay close attention. Especially if you stream video (watching or sending) Sending pictures to home, etc. They (Verizon) claims the cap is to "maintain the high speed integrity of their network" I see it as a way to collect more money. If they want you to use less bandwidth so the overall network is fast, reduce the actual speeds. Putting a size amount cap of data you can transmit is revenuing.

All of the carriers now have a cap, Sprint's the same as Verizon's. I think T-Mobile's the only one nice enough to make it 10GB/month, but that's because their high-speed network is a joke.

Millenicom has no cap. They are a reseller of Verizon and Sprint that I've been using for a few months with great success. They charge $60 a month with a month to month contract. I drive OTR and the coverage is excellent.

Has anyone ever gone over the 5G limit with the other plans? How bad did they kill you on the bill? Thanks.
