On top of that, an ambulance transporting a patient lost control on I-40 in Nashville and hit a rock wall. The patient, a female died along with a male EMT. The female driver survived.

Engine on, brain off.
Northerntanker, Wargames, driverdriver and 1 other person Thank this. -
I'd say charges will be filed. As a concealed carry permit holder, you don't pull over and get physical with people, you don't get in fights. You evade, evade, evade. You have to make every attempt to avoid the situation and in the event you have to pull it you have to be able to say that you did everything you could to avoid taking a life
dan31186, Wargames, BrandonCDLdriver and 10 others Thank this. -
And I am certainly not condoning the actions of the trucker, but if I am engaged in a heated arguement and a gun comes out, my first instinct would be to grab it and keep it away from the guy carrying it. This guy still shot an unarmed man. I would be surprised if a manslaughter charge wasn't brought.Wargames, Lepton1, driverdriver and 2 others Thank this.

Really? I would take off running.

Yes and no.
This guy will likely face a grand jury indictment. Depends on how hard the DA pushes.
But you do not have to evade, evade, evade. Law specifically states the opposite.
However you can not go looking to fight with a weapon on, which is clearly what the shooter did exiting his vehicle on the side of the interstate.Last edited: Dec 2, 2018
