No headlights dashlights r running lights on this old truck.the circuit breaker for tail would trip every time I put a relay on markers.started taking the dashboard apart and moving some wires and the headlights came on.behinh the headlights switch is about 6 inches on wire that plugs into another set of wires and the ones behind the plug r getting hot.is the plug bad r is something still grounding out.included is a picture of the plug

Wire broken?

Look where the hood tilts, the wired will chaff and crack there. Usually if the head light switch is getting hot it's from a bad connection some where. The windshield on these trucks are bad to leak right on to the back of the fuse box. There could be an issue there. Being honest with that trucks age it could be any where.
Headlights and tail lights are on the first switch. ICC lights and side lights are on the second one. The auxiliary light switch usually has the breather lights and under body trim lightsSAR, spsauerland, BoxCarKidd and 1 other person Thank this. -
And unplug the trailer cord from the truck.spsauerland and wore out Thank this.
