Most trainers are ####ty ex company drivers anyway. Float gears to them means forcing into gear breaking gears instead of gliding. So they don’t want to look like a fool

I’ve seen Eaton video on the dangers of floating years ago. IMO to discourage new Drivers from “ learning to float gears “with a new under warranty Trans. I’ve floated gears well over 1 mil with current reman Trans. The first 2 trans in Truck only lasted half mil. each. I don’t think former Owner knew how to shift very well or dbl clutched. Also had his brother run it a while.2nd Trans went out with in 2 yrs after I bought it approx 550 k . Caught me by surprise. I cringe when I hear gggggrrrrriiiiinnnnnd klunk! as some Driver takes off at Fuel island. Obviously not their TruckLepton1, Cam Roberts and drreid1958 Thank this.
