Truck stop low lifes

If all you guys would stop giving bums free money maybe they would actually go get a job. Did you ever think of that.

 

What if you became a bum? What if out of nowhere you lost everything? What if everything came crashing down faster than you build it back up? I always tell rookies not to associate with too many people, but now I think I'll tell rookies that if there are truckers they associate with, make sure they stay away from truckers who are self righteous and not humble.

 

What if I become a bum? I give you permission to look at me and call me a loser that's to lazy to get a job because people like you keep giving me money for free.

 

I think it's all about location. It doesn't matter what policy th TS may have, if it easy for the beggars to get there, and leave, they will.

 

I'll add one more thing, usually it's not one bad decision, or one tragedy, but many poor decisions made over and over again over many years that leads to the situation these people are in.

Smart, strong willed people will use every resource available to them to get themselves right and rectify the situation.

The weak, lazy, and shameless will beg, steal, etc.

 

Productive people will find a way to advance. They may have set backs but they will not beg, they will not seek pity as a means of support.

I’ve been approached twice by the same guy, almost a year to the date.

Same #### sob story. Just want to get some food for the wife and grandson. Our car broke down.

Really? You’ve been sitting in the truckstop for a year? In a broke down car, with your grandson and wife??

I actually gave him food the first time. But not the second.

Learn the difference between a bum and a true homeless person. Drive north on the 5 to the first rest area above Seattle. You’ll meet no less than a dozen homeless people that sleep in their cars. And they won’t be begging for money. They simply can’t afford the rent, even for a modest place.

 

Theyre literally in almost every town in Washington State.Cant go to Safeway or the Bank.There they are...Hard luck story follows.Even at Gas Station...appear"out of Nowhere...with a gas can.William stands outside of Safeway in Olympia :Kung ## Fighting" himself.Also at every exit ramp staring at ya...while ya wait for the light

 

Most just want money for drugs

 

I won’t say where. But I occasionally stay in a place that has about run the crazies and drug addicts away. They walk the streets at night with spiked sticks. The message spread pretty #### fast.

There are still legit homeless people. Most are known. They stay in the shelters when possible.
