    Go to this web sight:

    CSA Compliance, Safety, Accountability

Scroll down to where is says "Check Motor Carrier Safety and Performance Data" and type in any carriers name or MC#, press search. Once you find the carrier your looking for you will want to look at the "Complete SMS Profile" this will list all violations and reportable accidents for the last couple years.

    TankerP and 062 Thank this.

I realize that my carrier Prime is just as statistically safe as O/O only carriers because facts.

IIRC don't you drive for Mercer?

Exactly the amount of accidents per mile driven is the same only they are nearly twice as likely to fail an inspection as us.

Disappointing that Mercer a company with presumably experienced O/O's would be equally as likely to get into an accident as a Mega carrier with new drivers and trainees actually it's downright sorry. Truckstop carnage lol.

I have no idea if they take drivers there in 8 years I've never heard that the owner owns the Casino. I thought it was a Native American casino but I could be wrong and I've never been there.

Actually if Mercer had the same number of trucks the numbers would be in Mercer’s favor. Mercer has 2507 compared to 6331 power units.
Did you also notice the scores for substance abuse?

The amount of trucks isn't what I'd look at it would have to be compared on an accident per mile basis to get an even comparison.

I dont see substance abuse listed there is a line for driver out service which is nearly the same 1.1% for Prime and 1.3% for Mercer.

    * checks to see if Mercer runs carhaulers*

    Nope, not Mercer.

You're a Prime Homer, we get it. Never challenged your assertions about on road stats. Not really sure how it's even relevant to this duscussion.

But Homer on, trucker Homer on!

You must be looking at the carrier snapshot. If you look at the SMS you can look at every violation a company has had. It has a ranking over time. One or two bad inspections can cause those numbers to rise.

Are you saying that my statement that the total number of accidents per mile driven between Prime and Mercer are about the same is incorrect?

Regardless of the above conversation, I, as a new owner operator who has been driving for going on seven years now and has only pulled reefers except for a very short time pulled dry vans, must say this driver is either a person with extreme personal mental issues or was trying to make some sort of protest against the company.
There is no such thing as a reefer puller who doesn't know their reefer is running. They could be asleep when reefer stopped and wake up to a nightmare or be drugged up or something like that. Those are pretty much the only options aside from driver purposely doing this for their own stupid reasons.
This person needs to be immediately removed from their driving position and blackballed from this industry. The safety of the refrigerated trucking industry and our fellow eating citizens are at risk here and this should be considered a matter of National Security.
