Doing a build on a 2020 New Cascadia.
Was wondering if anyone in here is tracking their numbers on a DD13 in long haul or regional applications. I run dry van, but numbers from any area would help.
My gut is telling me I can do better in terms of MPG with the DD13 over the DD15, but some real world stats would be helpful.

How many HP for the DD13? I know in this environment it may take many months for that truck build to arrive.
-
400HP, 1750 Torque with either the DD13 or the DD15. Going with the Intelligent powertrain option, so either engine will have the same HP and Torque specs.
-
What gross weight do you haul?
-
I run a DD15 on a new KW T680 and a new reefer. Fully loaded I average around 8mpg on flat roads and empty I get close to 11mpg. Pulling hills loaded I'm getting more like 5mpg.

Quite unlikely that statement.
The DD15 is limited to DTNA built units by Freightliner and Western Star.
In a Kenworth, you either have a Paccar MX 13 or a Cummins X15.nofreetime Thanks this. -
A DD15 in a KW? Come on.....
