Money isn’t everything, I’d gladly take a little less doing what I want versus being miserable making a little more.CerealKiller, jeff18, LtlAnonymous and 1 other person Thank this.

For the most part, a lot of these companies who offer very high cpm don't hardly run you either...also, there's folks who don't like being micromanaged and I'm one of those...in figure if you're going to hire a grown adult, then let them do the job they're hired for and only be in the back for support if needed..UpstateFreight Thanks this.

I got called and approved so got my orientation for Jan 2nd or 3rd, waiting for verification on which actual day. I ran with Crete making, at the time, .46 per mile and barely hit 2200 miles a week. Once they got you on the east coast it was small runs. I prefer the long hauls myself and am ok with a smaller pay per mile.

Here
- It’s not the place to be if you don’t have ability or desire to stay out long periods. But for those who don’t have a lot of home commitments they will be hard pressed to make more money elsewhere outside of LTL linehaul work which many want no part of
- You have no idea what we’re making. The advertised starting rate is meaningless after some proving time
- This notion of others imparting onto others their idea of what is or is not a worthwhile rate is stupid

So easy a caveman can do it.

I couldn't agree more. Making a "lateral" move is a waist of time and money. If your going to change companies, make sure its an informed and educated decision where you will significantly improve your quality of living be it financial or home time.jeff18 and LtlAnonymous Thank this.

They will never show these "reality" photos in a recruiting video.LtlAnonymous Thanks this.
