It wasn't asmuch as the plan, i did have the North America one. But Bells customer service sucks big time.

The 850 plan is around a 100 bucks..it's a business plan, so it's way better than the personal ones.

I checked the Canada 850 one carefully, you can call anywhere in Canada or the US with no roaming, the North America one includes Mexico & Uber expensive by comparison.

go to www.bell.ca & click the mobility & check their plans, a simple phone call will change it for you. You can do it online if you have that feature set up.

As far as customer service...have you ever had to deal with TELUS? They're 1,000,000 times worse by comparison! I've never had any trouble with them. Been with them for about 6 years now. Maybe they treat their business customers better.

Maybe a few...but like most things SERVICE is a relative term...but YOU have never been saddled with them with no other alternative! TELUS is the main reason we no longer have land lines!

We have had TELUS cell service for 7 years , NOT 1 PROBLEM , great service , get a present from them every Christmas , last was $35.00 box of Choclates, delivered by UPS , get monthly gift certificates in the bill for discounts at movies ecte usually totals around $25.00.

Can actually cross in / out of Canada and not have a TEXT message telling me I crossed the border and welcoming me to a NEW countrie like Canadians get with ROGERS.

Nor do I get $25.00 per call INTERNATIONAL charges if my signal bounces off the tower closest to me that might be in the opposite country as many get along the Eastern portion of the 401 with Rogers and Bell.

WTH??!! I've been a Telus (AGT before that) customer, both personal and numerous businesses, since Christ was a lance corporal and I've never gotten anything from them except bills & grief. :biggrin_2552:

Exactly my experience L & F... I hate them worse than WARTS! I can't wait till their monopoly on land lines ends in 2010...
then maybe we can get some real service for land lines!

Im not sure about their plan but I beleive AT&T has free calls in Canada, not 100% sure but check into it that way if your friends call it won't cost you millions of dollars.

I was in Canada on a business trip and kept the calls very short and brief and I racked up 200.00 in a day in a half. Thank goodness work paid for it because I would of been one broke momma :biggrin_25525:

My daughter just gave up 1 of their cell phones , no longer need it , TELUS sent a nice Sorry we are going to miss you letter.

They reserved her old # for 60 days , no reactivation fee and if she comes back they will give her 50% discount on the rate plan she has / had for 3 months.
