and you would be 100% wrong.

in the other thread regarding this, a few months back, i linked the Ivy League college, Brown University.

they are private security, that have FULL policing powers. (they go thru the police dept academy) and have to qualify on a gun range, not like some jackwagon that can just get a gun permit and shoot.

so those types of security companies are out there.

I agree, somewhat. I’ll lean toward at least one of them being an off duty police officer. Regardless, he was attempting to leave a secure facility from outside. Once that fact gets told to a jury. Katy barred the door.

I’m willing to bet money he’s now being told ALL charges will disappear if he just lets it go.

Been there done that. If he gets a jury trial. He can buy a new truck with cash.

I'm still waiting to hear if there was a rise in syphilis and herpes since the pharmacy load was late to the CDC. Something caused him to reverse himself on that load. It makes me wonder if there was some stuff in the truck he didn’t want found, be it a gun, drugs, etc.

In all likelihood, he peobably could have said, "I'm not complying with this search any further, and I choose to leave"... and would have been allowed to do so... IF HE WOULD HAVE TAKEN HIS HANDS OUT OF HIS POCKETS.

He was being clearly defiant, and that's a security issue.
Once he started the search he at least partially acknowledged their authority to conduct it.

Some people just don't like rules.
Sometimes I don't either.. but they're in place for a reason when you get off of your High Horse and think about it.

Is there seriously such a thing as Railroad Police? And what do they do and/or enforce?

as i see it, he was there...ok, ..........he did not know what he was picking up, so the inspection had started.

he was told more than once, to keep his hands out of his pockets. how difficult a request (at first i'd think a request), all other times a demand. he made the guards feel unsafe...

so if a cop were to have told him to keep his hands out of his pockets....would he have then..???

    we really do not know.

i think he escalated the situation, and the guards responded accordingly.

as we can also see in the video, no guards were hauled off in handcuffs for assault....as there were cops there.

we really also do not know the exact time he asked to leave the area. before the search or during the search. if during the search, would you think that then, he had something to hide...??

    i know i would have.

    My 2 cents.......
Bottom line is, he attempted to leave & they detained & attacked him without probable cause. If they didn't like him keeping his hands in his pockets, they should have been glad for him to go. But instead, they prevented him from leaving... forcefully. In my opinion, they had no reason what so ever to detain him. If he wanted to leave, I don't see that they had any reason to prevent him from doing so. He had nothing that belonged to them & he had not broken any laws.
Again, if they didn't like his actions, they should have been glad for him to leave.
In another sense, if they didn't like the way he was co-operating, they should have INSISTED that he leave.
I think for them to detain him... not only detain, but attack him (they put their hands on him first), was totally wrong & I hope he can buy a fleet of trucks when this is over.

That hat he was wearing probably had a lot to do with the way he was treated.
