have a 2010 D13. Comes up with a regen needed then regen required. I try to do a parked regen . It says failed check status. Status has the exhaust temp N/A. I replaced the NOX sensor and the T fitting on top of the 7th injector and cleaned it....It has a code active code on the aftertreatment shut off valve. It trys to regen once in while on the road stops after couple miles. Un related question does the aftertreatment shut off valve have a banjo bolt on it ?

Sometimes mine does that... I shut it off for a few mins then start it back up and tell it to regen again. Most of the time it will do a regen after I do this.

Did you notice thick white -blue smoke when the regen starts ?
OTR has this modules for forced regen, i dont know how much $, still useful so you can move the truck to shop. I got towed few times for Regen isues.

Please be careful and use that as a last ditch effort. Using non dealer, or "OEM" software, is dangerous as it operates, or "communicates" with the ECM slightly differently than intended.
Last time I saw the price of that module, it was about $400. I got dealer software instead, although significantly more expensive unfortunately.Newto Trucking Thanks this. -
I didnt know this can be damaging, I linked it because i watched the video recently, was think to buy it. You are right the Volvo software safer way more things to use it for .
What Volvo software did you buy, ? how much does it cost , what interface, without a laptop, I have a couple. Have to renew licence every year? -
I have Volvo/Mack PTT, which is the OEM software. Its $950 (much cheaper than most other OEM software). As for interface, I have the program installed on a Toughbook. I'm not sure about annual renewal, as I got it recently. You will also need some additional hardware in order to connect to your truck. Brace yourself; ####s expensive.
If you want, I can recommend where to get the proper equipment/software. I have plenty of experience with this stuff from my time at dealers and now owning my own business.
I wish you luck. I'll be available for any more questions you may have.
