OBJECTION.
Your Honor, once again Mr.tucker has gone into fantasy land.
It has already been established many posts ago, Greg has left trucking, lives in a van, smokes ganja with his 19 year old girlfriend, and delivers pizzas for a living.
I was wrong. E-logs save lives

Greg just needs to man up and stop drinking and realize he can't get home tonight and he is going to miss that auction. He can go see his girlfriend tomorrow and the beer will be on sale tomorrow and the nobody got that junk at the auction and has free sign for someone to take it away.
Dave_in_AZ, Rideandrepair and tucker Thank this. -
Your confusion is your choice. Carry on as you were.PoleCrusher, sealevel, Rideandrepair and 2 others Thank this.

Notice how Greg only thinks about himself ? It's all about getting his GF or his drinking or some deal he thinks he is missing out. Greg need to see the big picture and stop thinking about himself.
Rideandrepair, Toothpick1, tucker and 1 other person Thank this. -
Distance has absolutely zero to do with hos, point out exactly where in the log book laws it says anything about how far you are allowed to drive. I know several people who've fallen asleep driving home from working at the hospital, it is about how many hours you work, if it was about safety there would be laws on how many hours you can drive your car.Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Think you're probably the one who needs to man up and realize Greg should be allowed to make his own choices and it's nobody's business.EddieK, PoleCrusher, Rideandrepair and 2 others Thank this.

I know Greg, he taught me how to use paper logs. Greg doesn't own a cell phone, he thinks they are a distraction. He did, however make a phone call to the FMCSA one time. He asked them on what scientific basis the HOS were founded and why are they suspended during national emergencies. He is still waiting for a call back with an answer on his landline.
Greg actually won $27 million in damages from that drunk pickup truck driver. Turns out he was coming home from an ATA lobbyist party at a congressional leader's home. Greg's gonna be just fine.Dave_in_AZ, PoleCrusher, Oxbow and 8 others Thank this. -
Except that's the exact opposite of what happens in the real world. Although I will have to say it's been amusing with all the justification people have been throwing out to kill someone just to make a few extra dollars.
If this thread doesn't showcase why HOS exists, nothing will.roshea, Rideandrepair and tucker Thank this. -
The rookie domestic truck driver is a endangered species. There is no such thing. What you do have however, is a bunch of rookie drivers that don't know rules and can't annotate logs with a pen in englishLast edited: Dec 21, 2018
