They should get rid personal conveyance entirely and if the truck moves your elogs kicks on, that's everything they're supposed to prevent anyway, see how many people still like them then.
I was wrong. E-logs save lives

Doesn't solve mine, especially with multiple events over several days, it won't take no for an answer for more than 2 events. Also locks me from proceeding as logged in until I screw around typing on a balky touchscreen to the satisfaction of the ELD gods.
Has to be some diety involved, as screwed up as this is (sarc).
Sucks, doesn't it?Rideandrepair and rank Thank this. -
And they shouldn’t do that.
I’m against that too.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
I was told about that, off duty doesn't seem to flag it, though, and it only shows up in the office, the display doesn't show violations on the graph, per the mandate, and the countdown timer isn't always correct with the rules, either, (deep, frustrated sigh)Rideandrepair Thanks this.

I did local 2 days in the past 2 weeks and used the 16 hour exception both times, legally, as far as I know, the ELD, well, that's anyone's guess.

Really?
Paper loggers wreck all the time too.
The billy big riggers who spend all their money at the chrome shop are the most aggressive unsafe drivers out there. Tailgating and screaming to get out of the way. Thinking they always need to speed going down a 55 mph highway.
.
I always slow down to the speed in construction zones and other reduced speed limits just to annoy everyone, and everyone would pass me, the governed and the ungoverned and all the 4 wheelers too.roshea and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
Ahh,You'll never understand, maybe I'll see you out here 1 day,I'll buy you breakfast anyway.
You'll Get it sooner or laterRideandrepair Thanks this. -
I think when everyone has the AOBR the moving to a dock during your break will end.againstthewind and Rideandrepair Thank this.

I've ran paper logs, I ran SO ILLEGAL too, I've done that, I know,
But let me tell you that you can run legal and still make money and have a life. A 10 hour break is a great thing, whether you're in a truckstop a 1,000 miles from home or at home. Read a book, go to a bar and socialize, get a hobby, enjoy that break and14 hours is a long enough work day.
You could learn a lot from me Danielsonroshea, bryan21384 and Rideandrepair Thank this.
