Montana, I am accustomed to local tankers blasting by at 90+ blowing a few inches of snow off the interstate to buy us pooches a little more time on blacktop. The last time we hit that in a storm it turned into a foot by Billings for me and since I fought the 4 passes in the lookout and Idaho area etc I had quite enough so took a night in billings before the Continential Divide.
I 80 is not a good idea they are talking 14 inches below Fargo to Souix City and icing. 90 might actually be a good route.
I am hoping your easting advance will not catch the storm by the time it hits the midwest with rain etc. It will greatly clear things up before you get there.IluvCATS Thanks this. -
