Twiss Transport in Tampa requires 12 mos. experience.
Heyl Truck Lines - Zephyrhills - 6 mos. experience.

Abilene Motor Express - new cdl grads.
Oakley Transport - Lake Wales - 12 mos. experience.

 

CTL (Comcar Carriers) has been recently acquired by a private equity company. So that may not be the most stable carrier right now.

 

Maybe they saw it as a good investment. I don't know.

I have my tanker endorsement, but am not familiar with this trucking niche. I have been told that with tankers, you have to clean the tanker yourself. Is this true? Or do companies use tanker washes in general? Thanks.

 

You take it to a tank wash. The trucking company pays for it.

 

Last I checked, oakley from out of la belle, fl locally was paying 12 bucks an hour...

 

12 bucks an hour isnt worth it be better off being a greeter at Walmart
