    I'd like to upgrade stock Volvo speakers. Anyone knows what size they are (I've got 6 total)? Anything you'd recommend? Thanks in advance!

    The stock ones are 5.25 I believe and dash is 3.5, I've replaced them with 6.5 in and they fit and the dash ones if you trim a little you can fit a 4 in and still put the covers back on. I would recommend some pioneer stuff and if you go aftermarket speakers you have to replace headunit to notice any difference.

    I see this is an old thread, but if you have a factory amplifier in the truck replacing speakers can be rather troublesome due to the ohm rating of the amp.

    How do you find out if you have one or not?

    Don't know if your truck has one. I know all 780's do. If you do my guess is it's under the bed. Black box will sau DELCO on it
