Always make sure anything you send says "sent" before you get on drive line. Not really that hard.

 

Walmart's trucking fleet used to be as selective as Harvard, but a truck driver shortage has changed how Walmart hires

 

Wonder how much we paid for that?

 

How do you think that will affect the fleet overall?

 

It will not. Just like the thousands we have wasted on posters, and signage sent to every store that we are hiring drivers. It will waste a butt load of money.

The two best moves they could make would be fire the management that still believe drivers are a dime a dozen.

He is a problem as far as recruiting goes. He and his immediate underlings that praised his moves have to go.

End this ignorant practice of promoting driver miles. This comes straight from that growth in the Crystal Palace. They had their listening sessions why folks did not want to work here and heard the word miles. Now they promote miles, miles, miles.......and act all stunned our safety record is going down the #### toilet. We are training the new guys improperly as a direct result in upper managements ignorant response to a crisis they created.


This ad will just be wasted money. It will not bring in new drivers. It might actually cost them recruits. Despite the intent it smacks of "training company" tactics. We are not but it sure does appear so to a lot of guys I have had ask me questions.
